Walker Evans

Walker Evans has had a spotty career at Oberlin, being involved many feats of derring-do and guerrilla art endeavors that have wound him up respectively starving himself in one half of a divided double in french house for two days, starving himself while up all night copy-editing the Grape because DeCafe closed an hour earlier than it used to last year, starving himself for two hours while performing in the Boston subway, starving himself wrapped in a bedsheet spraying perfume over the audience's heads in Warner concert hall, and starving himself while trying to enter into the plot of a Franz Kafka short story.

Walker has long legs, which his parents must have seen coming when they named him.

(Yep, same name as that dead photographer, whose work can in part be found at the Allen Memorial Art Museum.)

He bangs drums like none other. Also is purportedly a marching band expert.

And he takes care of Allen.
