Student Employment Office
The Student Employment Office (SEO) has various functions:
- Approve and file students' W-4 and I-9 tax forms, thereby making them eligible to get a job on campus
- File Student Employment Cards, thereby setting students up to receive their yellow timecard
- Gives you the form you need to have a paycheck directly deposited into your bank account or your tuition (but you have to file it at the controller's office).
[edit] Location, Hours, and Communication
The SEO is located in Carnegie 125, to the left of the Registrar.
During the academic year, the office is open between 8:30AM and 4:30PM, though not continuously. When the SEO is unstaffed, students requiring service of the SEO are instructed to go to Financial Aid.
They can be contacted at Student.Employment.Office@oberlin.edu or at x5-8144.
