Quiet hours
While ResLife dorms have official "quiet hours" (typically something like 11pm to 8am weekdays, midnight to 10am weekends, but whose limits are imposed by ResLife and not the actual residents of a dorm), co-ops have no such rules. Though of course it's possible, I'm unaware of any coop having had quiet hours as a house policy; instead, any noise or other disturbances is governed by the No-Asshole Policy. In practice, co-opers tend to be a bit less careful about bothering somebody else with music at 4:30am, but, with some exceptions, this doesn't get to be a recurring problem, and since there is a far greater sense of community in a co-op than in a dorm, people are much more willing to turn down music or put towels under their door if their neighbors (or HLECs) request it.
