Oberlin Public Library

01Library.JPG

A pretty good library, excellent for a small town.

Students can get library cards, but they need to be renewed each June (for the summer) and September (for the school year). You can get a regular card if you have a non-OCMR address.

The library serves the community as a whole, and since Oberlin is full of quirky professors the collection is quite good. It tends to pick up some of the holes left by the academic collection in Mudd, including popular fiction and non-fiction, as well as children's books, movies, and comic books/graphic novels.

The library is at 65 South Main Street, next to the building with Yesterday's in it and back from the road a bit. If you're driving, you pull into the right-hand side of the parking lot and pull out from the left.

It's also one of the voting locations in Oberlin.
