Kade House
The German program house, a.k.a. Das Deutsche Haus. Both a Faculty-in-Residence (Dorothea Kaufmann) and a German TA (Martina Schwinn) live here, along with a couple dozen students who speak German or want to learn.
There's an enormous lounge with a big-screen TV (the RA and the TA have keys to it). There's also a German library, stocked with books and German board games, in a smaller TV room which gets special broadcasts from a couple dozen countries around the world. Also, the dorm has a nice kitchen, lots of singles, and is close to the Conservatory.
To be admitted to German House, you agree to participate in the various events put on by the staff. Events include movie night and various things involving food.
The name is pronounced "kah-deh", not "kayd".
