Jennifer Bryan

Jennifer Bryan is a professor in the English department at Oberlin. She specializes in Medieval literature and yearly teaches a course on linguistics, The History and Structure of the English Language. A comprehensive and fascinating examination of the language from Anglo-Saxon times to the present, this is a tremendously popular course among English majors and non-majors alike. In addition to survey Medieval courses, Jen teaches more focused courses on the influence of women's writings on Medieval literature.
