Infinite Monkey Comics and Games

A wonderful Oberlin institution that deserves your business. Run by an alum (Erin) and a townie (Josh) (married July 2006), Infinite Monkey sells (you guessed it!) comic books, games, and other geek accouterments.

The store used to be called Matrix Games Oberlin. The name change resulted after the owner of the original Matrix Games and Diversions, in the north half of the county, closed his business but asked for a large licensing fee for Josh and Erin to continue using the name. Deciding that it was not worth the money, the two rebranded the store.

Erin and Josh are really nice, and since you don't have time to read books without pictures for fun, blowing your paycheck there every once and a while isn't such a bad thing to do, mental-health wise.
