IGA
A little bit larger than Missler's and a little bit smaller than most big super markets, IGA sells food, paper products, personal products, and generally the sorts of things you might expect to find in a medium sized super market in a small town.
It is located less than a mile to the east of campus on Lorain Road. The address is 331 E Lorain St. The phone number is 774-6351.

IGA usually has the freshest produce in town, although that isn't saying much, and they don't have a very big organic section (for organics, try leaving town, or going to Oberlin Market). --jkimmel 08:58, 26 Aug 2005 (CDT)
The staff of IGA is surprisingly friendly to college students, but then, so is everyone in Oberlin. Their snow peas are excellent for stir fries, but their zucchini leave... well... everything to be desired. Jwisser 11:21, 3 July 2006 (EDT)
The IGA is one of the good local businesses that is most at risk because of the new Mall-Wart south of town. The IGA has paid good wages and decent benefits to its employees -- many of whom have, as a result, worked there for many years. They can't beat Wal-Mart on prices, but they deserve our community support. -kormand 14 July 2007
