How to date at Oberlin

[edit] Guys

[edit] Heterosexual

[edit] Summary

Option One: Conventional

(1) Meet a girl you'd like to date. (2) Get her number. (3) Then a few days later call her up and ask her out. For the first date you should do something ordinary, like go out for coffee at the Java Zone or to a movie at the Apollo. (4) Save the more exotic activities for the second and subsequent dates, and don't spend too much money on a girl it turns out you might not be that interested in. (5) Always have a plan for the date, with a sequence of activities to do if you have the time and if things go well, along with reasons to cut it short if things don't. (6) Pay attention during the first date for ideas for the second date. If you want a second date after the first one, wait a few days after the end of the first date to call her up and ask her out again. (7) Repeat as desired. And don't forget yo' bling

Option Two: College Student style (the lazy way)

Follow steps (1) and (2) (3) ... but instead of going on a date, make it a "study date" in your room, or at the library. Or just go to DeCafe, you lazy ho. Meeting up at a party can also work, since you'll need to be intoxicated to get over the awkward vibe and move on to step 4. (4) Repeat, if necessary. (5) Get the girl back to your room to hang out. (6) As Captain Falcon says, show your moves! (7) Repeat, repeat, repeat...

Don't let the lack of article body fool you. I'm sure there are plenty of people who know about this subject at Oberlin who just don't have time to write stuff like this because of all their dates.
