Fearless
"Fearless" is the hip new defining and uniting quality of Oberlin students, according to some highly-paid PR guy. It's replacing the "Think one person can change the world? So do we." that is seen on posters in academic offices around the college.
The Fearless site looks like one of those Army ads targeting high school boys who like to play war video games. Apparently, the Fearless campaign also comes with a lack of regard for capitalization.
According to the website, examples of fearlessness include, but are not limited to: winning a MacArthur Genius Grant, directing a musical, having a tolerant, diverse community, and student co-ops.
This is in stark contrast to the American Heritage Dictionary definition of fearless, which is "without fear; brave."
Generally regarded as being COMPLETE bullshit.
