[edit] Mission Statement
The Environmental Policy Implementation Group (EPIG) is an active coalition of students advocating for and assisting with the full implementation of Oberlin College's Environmental Policy. Adopted in March of '04 by the Board of Trustees, this far-reaching policy addresses campus energy production and consumption, building construction, modernization, and maintenance, land use and development, transportation and material use by the College.
[edit] Current Projects
- CFL Task Force: EPIG has facilitated the ordering of thousands of CFL light bulbs which we will be distributing throughout dorms this year.
- Phase Two Housing: We're continuing to work with the administration to adhere to their goals of making all new housing LEED silver certified.

- Car Share Launch: EPIG worked on the publicity for the launch of the new car share program on campus. The program is still running strong today!
