East College Street Project

The East College Street Project is a community development project of Sustainable Community Associates, a trio of young alums. The project will replace three consecutive buildings on East College Street (running west from Pleasant Street: The Rax, a fast food restaurant; the Jack Knight building, a former dry-cleaners, now mixed residential and occassionally commercial; and an old Buick showroom that hadn't been used in years) with a number of condo-type houses, priced for a range of incomes, new commercial space, and underground parking.
