David Love Lounge

The David Love Lounge, often called simply the "Love Lounge" for short, is a small area on the second floor of the Science Center, overlooking the Atrium. It features several tables and desk chairs, along with a smaller number of plush chairs and a suspiciously stained sofa.

The Love Lounge is generally associated with the Chemistry department, which uses it for reception of visiting speakers, though Biology and Neuroscience sometimes use it for similar purposes as well. It is a popular spot for science majors of all stripes to study, or to socialize in lieu of studying. On Sunday and Wednesday evenings, members of the Chemistry Majors' Committee hold walk-in tutoring sessions for chemistry neophytes.
