Dave's Army/Navy

There's been an Army Navy store on Main Street in Oberlin since 1963. Dave's opened in 1994. They carry things you would expect in an Army Navy store and some you definitely wouldn't. Military surplus clothing and collectables, camping and outdoor gear, work clothes and steel toe boots are sold alongside pink and rainbow items. They have a large selection of men's and women's work and duty footwear and a variety of colorful Converse "Chuck Taylor" All Stars, as well as high quality brands including Merrill and Teva. A good place for practical, durable goods. If you ask Dave he'll give you a tour of his collection of military and historical artifacts.

The store sponsors a kids' baseball team in Lorain (or at least it did in 2001).
