[edit] Description from course catalog
- This course introduces students to the materials and methods of art history. Though arranged chronologically, the class is not a survey. Instead, we address central art historical topics such as technique, style, iconography, the status of the artist and art’s relationship with its original context. This course makes integral use of the Allen Memorial Art Museum.
[edit] Prerequisites / Notes
