It's been around a couple years. It replaced the Foxgrape.

Some of the best coffee on campus in my opinion, good Mexican stuff that has a nice nose-filling aftertaste and goes well with a ciggarette - or not. Not sure if its Fairtrade or note, pretty sure its organic.

Seems too pricey for what you get, and I never feel very satisfied after a meal here, so I've only eaten here a handful of times. They do have some unusual drinks. --Nhorn

TJ works there, good 'nough for me. --Walker

The Agave serves a very good menu of pasty midwestern interpretations of Mexican food. If you want real Mexican food, go somewhere else. I almost always get a burrito (pretty expensive at $7), which is delicious and a little too big. I've heard that the "super nachos" are good, too. They have some great imported sodas - apple, sangria, grapefruit - but nothing you haven't had at every other Mexican joint (or at least the ones in NYC and Florida). You order your food at a counter, and that keeps the atmosphere pretty relaxed, and after the meal you organize your own dishes and garbage, just like co-op or dining hall. Most importantly, they have plenty of tequila and margarita mix on hand, although they won't serve underage patrons. --Leo

After two summers in Albquerque, i think the food at the burrito bar is pretty good - at $5-7 for a meal-sized burrito (or nachos) i think the prices are fine. When i get back to oberlin, ima get me a vegetarian one with the amazingly good roasted veggies. Also, TJVM. --joe

If you buy a soft taco for $2.50, you can get a full meal on top of it. The people who work there are sweet as pie and the food doesn't have any hormones or bad policies behind it. It's local and delicious. -Meg
